ACSim - Air Combat Flight Simulator
A downloadable game for Windows
ACSim is a work-in-progress flight simulation project.
For now one can fly around, test the flight model, explore the map, trying to do starts and landings and set up some air to air action, e.g. doing dogfights against AI aircrafts (no multiplayer).
The aircraft is controlled by joystick and/or keyboard, both can be freely configured.
A help mechanism is included and accessible from inside the game at all times.
--- Please don't mind the small download size. It's due to procedural generation and due to the fact no 3rd party game engine is used. ---

Hi. Ive accidently changed my resolution too low and i cant save my changes to my actual resolution. Can you help me?
Hi. I am not sure if I get it right but would it help to edit the config file from outside the game? It should be in your home folder in the acsim directory, there you can change the resolution too.
If you can't find it search for settings.cfg
Ok, ill try right now. Thank you so much!
wait with what do i open the config
nvm, used notepad, think it now works, thanks so much!!
Although there isn't a lot of content just yet, I think this game is actually one of the coolest flight simulators on Itch. The core gameplay is very polished, and I find it very impressive that you've made your own game engine for this. It is hard enough to make the things you've done in something like Unity which already does much of the heavy lifting.
The whole game just has this very nice style that I think is very cool.
Thanks for this nice comment, I really appreciate it!
3rd person view? i ask because i sometimes like to see the plane while flying
No, only cockpit view, sorry. But thanks for asking and writing the first comment here :-)
